The Blues and Keith Tkachuk met yesterday to discuss a long-term deal. Last month, Tkachuk signed a one year qualifying offer, under the assumption that a more permanent contract will be offered. Both sides believe it can be accomplished before the start of the season. Tkachuk led the Blues in goals last season and scored ten points in the post season. He’ll be a free agent at the end of the upcoming season.
