The Royals routed the Twins 12-4 at the Metro Dome, ending their losing streak at six games. Sean Sedlacek was the starting pitcher. He got the win improving to 2-2 on the season. Luis Alicea was the offensive catalyst for Kansas City. He went 2-4 with four RBI’s, hitting his first home run of the season. But the work doesn’t get any easier. They finished with one first place team only to start with another. After losing three of four to the first-place Twins, the Royals take on another division leader tonight. They’ll square off with the Yankees for the first of three in the Bronx.
