SMS head basketball coach Barry Hinson hired Troy Collier and Kevin Morrissey yesterday to round out his 2002 staff. Collier comes to Springfield, via Eastern Illinois where he served as an assistant coach. Morrissey was also an assistant at Texas Pan-American. They fill the spots left by Tommy Deffebaugh who took an assistant’s job at Western Michigan and Dale Ribble who took the No. 1 assistant job at Drury.
