It’s safe to say Dick Vermeil didn’t like what he saw in the Chiefs early practice on Tuesday. He equated the offense to horse manure, but he also gave the coaching staff the same evaluation. The Chiefs head coach thinks the biggest weakness right now is pass protection. The defense has been a nightmare for the offensive line in practice so far, and Eric Hicks has been the most impressive. According to Vermeil, no one can stop him…..Offensive lineman John Tait had to leave practice early on Tuesday after a scuffle with rookie DE Eddie Freeman. Tait had to get stitches after the fight.
