Police in St. Louis County have launched a full-scale search for a missing 6-year-old child, who disappeared from a home in Valley Park around 7:20 this morning. Police say Cassandra “Casey” Williamson was with her father in the kitchen of the home. He claims he left the kitchen for a few moments and, when he returned, his daughter was gone. Police are treating this as a kidnapping. Police say if the child was abducted, it’s possible she might have been nabbed as she walked across the street to a relative’s home.
