The 18th annual Show-Me State Games resume today. Over 35,000 competitors will vie for medals in the nation’s largest state game competition. Last weekend’s hot conditions didn’t stop athletes from competing in their favorite sports and heat-related problems were few and minor. More of the same is expected this weekend with temperatures in the 90’s and heat indices over 100.
