A St. Louis area stockbroker says the old principles still apply as Missourians invested in the stock market try to ride out Wall Street’s bear market. Lisa Peel works out of the Edward Jones Chesterfield office. Peel insists those who followed the old advice of keeping diversified and seeking safer investments as they age should do find even if the stock market drops farther. Peel has seen a change in attitudes. She says she couldn’t sell bondsjust two years ago, now everyone is interested in any kind of investment other than the stock market.
