Thomas’ Gets $5.75M From Rams, Chiefs Still Working on Sims

July 24, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The terms of Robert Thomas’ deal with the Rams were announced yesterday. The first-round pick from UCLA will get $5.75 million over five years and he got a $3 million signing bonus. Steve Bellisari is the Rams only unsigned draftee, but the sixth-round pick says his agent and the team are close to a deal….The Chiefs will be talking with Ryan Sims again today. Sims, who was taken in the first round out of North Carolina, is still unsigned. He’s already moved into the starting spot as a defensive tackle on Dick Vermiel’s depth chart.
