Hot, Dry Weather Hurting State’s Agriculture

Searing heat and lack of rain have been hurting the state’s crops and pastures. The State Agricultural Statistics Service reports both the corn and soybean crops in Missouri have deteriorated under the recent hot spell. The hot, dry weather has also been burning up pasture. Northwest Missouri has been hit especially hard. The service rates nearly all of is pastures poor to very poor.
