The Cook County (Ill) coroner’s office confirmed yesterday that Cardinal pitcher Darryl Kile died as a result of coronary blockage. Toxicology reuslts also found marijuana in his system and suggested that Kile used it a few weeks before he died. The report indicated that it had nothing to due with his death. No other drugs were found in Kile’s system. He was 33 when he was found dead in his Chicago hotel room last month.
