Lighting up inside city-owned buildings in St. Louis might soon be a thing of the past. Alderman Freeman Bosley Junior has introduced a bill that would ban smoking in all areas of buildings owned or leased by the city. The ban would include St. Louis-Lambert Field. The bill still needsthe approval of the Board’s Health and Human Services Committee before the full Board could vote on it. Final approval won’t happen until the Board gets back from summer recess in September.
