Tickets for the Missouri and Illinois football game at the dome in St. Louis went on sale yesterday. According to Mizzou Associate Director of Athletics Mario Moccia, 40,000 tickets have been sold. The two teams have met 18 times, with the Tigers winning eleven contests. They haven’t gotten together on the gridiron since 1994. The August 31st match up will open the season for both teams. It will be televised regionally on ABC.
