Ozzie Smith donned his old Cardinal uniform last night as the National League All-Star team’s honorary captain in Milwaukee. Smith played 19 seasons in the big leagues and went to three World Series with the Cardinals. It was an odd homecoming of sorts for Smith; he and the Redbirds won the 1982 World Series against the Brewers. Later this year, Smith will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
