A new law dealing with the Pledge of Allegiance is in place this July Fourth holiday. Governor Bob Holden has signed into law a bill that calls for public schools to offer students the opportunity to say the Pledge. Holdensays this is important for young Americans. Holden insists no student will have to recite the Pledge if he or shewishes to opt out.
