Michael Tucker also went deep on a night where a major league record 62 home runs were hit. Starter Paul Byrd got the win, improving to 11-5. Roberto Hernandez got his 14th save of the season. Getting back to Sweeney, he was 2-3, upping his average to .363. But Ichiro Suzuki was 2-4 improving to .366, keeping his lead in the batting race.
