A group of Missouri National Guardsmen will be helping with security at the St. Louis Arch for this holiday. Captain George Acree is in charge of a company of soldiershelping the National Park Service with security. He believes the best way for Americans to stand up to terrorism is to get out and enjoy the Fourth of July holiday. Officials won’t say exactly how many soldiers have been sent to St. Louis, citing security concerns. But Governor Holden sent a battalion after a request came in from the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
