The Senate has approved a $393-Billion defense bill. The difference could prove crucial for St. Louis. The House version calls for 44 F/A-18 Super Hornets for the Navy. The Senate version adds four more. Each plane costs $50-Million and are built in St. Louis by about 5,000 Boeing workers.
