The Federal Aviation Administration has banned airplane flights near the Gateway Arch during the Fourth of July holiday. Planes will not be allowed within one nautical mile of the arch for security reasons. The arch is one of three national landmarks for which the FAA has installed no-fly rules for the holiday. The other two: the Statue of Liberty, and Mount Rushmore.
