The transformation from collegiate star to NBA hopeful will be complete for Kareem Rush tonight. The former Missouri Tiger is expected to go in the first round of this evening’s draft in New York. The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat have shown the most interest in Rush. The Pacers pick 14th, the Heat 10th. Ten Tigers have gone in the first round. The last one was Keyon Dooling who was taken 10th by the Magic in 2000, but he was soon traded to the Clippers. The highest Mizzou hoopster was Steve Stipanovich who was taken second by the Pacers in 1983.
