Former Royal Glendon Rusch tossed a complete-game four-hit shut out as the Cards fell to the Brewers 2-0 at Busch. It was the first Cardinal home game since Darryl Kile died on Saturday morning. Starter Matt Morris allowed two runs in the 5th inning, but that was enough to give him the loss, dropping to 10-5 on the season. Before the game, a 57 second moment of silence was observed in memory of Kile. He wore 57 on his jersey. Today a 12:30 memorial service will be conducted at Busch Stadium.
