A Cass County judge has ruled the murder case against John Edward Robinson, Junior can go forward, although the county prosecutor doesn’t want it to and prosecutors in Kansas say the move might complicate the case against Robinson in their state. Robinson is charged with murdering five women and leaving their bodies in 55-gallon drums in both states. Cass County Prosecutor Chris Koster says different court rules on the ability of lawyers to speak publicly about the case could lead to court appeals later.
