The former Catholic chaplain of the Missouri House, who was ousted from the public ministry in 1999, has left his job as a greeter at Disney World after Disney learned of allegations against him. Father Hugh Behan is under investigation in Osage County, Missouri in connection with sexual abuse allegations involving a 10-year-old girl in 1983. The Jefferson City Catholic Diocese says Behan was dismissed from active ministry after allegations of sexual misconduct involving an 18-year-old woman surfaced. Behan, who is 63, was the longtime editor of the diocese newspaper, the Catholic Missourian. He says he resigned his job at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, insisting he was not fired.
