Fasco Motors is closing its plant in Ozark, in southwest Missouri, dumping its 427 employees, and is taking the jobs to Piedras Negras, Mexico. Fasco has run its plant in Ozark for more than 30 years. The company cites “excess manufacturing capacity” and “continuous pricing pressure” as reasons for the shutdown. The factory makes motors used in ventilation systems.
