Lebanon native Mark McBride looks to win his record third-straight Missouri Amateur Championship, which starts today at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield. McBride’s back-to-back wins ties Tom Watson, who accomplished the feat in 1970 and 1971. The five-day event features stroke play on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then the top 64 of the 156 entrants will move on to match play. The championship will culminate in a 36-hole round on Sunday. This is the 95th Missouri Amateur Championship.
