Ducks Top Cats Despite Deficit

June 17, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks gave up three early runs to give the Fort Worth Cats but battled back for a 6-5 win at Price Cutter Park. First baseman Jeremy Schied proved to be the Father’s Day hero, with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth. The one-out RBI broke a 5-5 tie and upped the Ducks record to 15-15 on the season.
