The Cardinals beat the Mariners 7-0 thanks to a grand slam from Albert Pujols and a three run shot from Tino Martinez. It was Pujols’ 14th homer and Martinez’s 9th. Woody Williams was the winner in seven innings of work, striking out five. Williams is 3-2, snapping a personal two-game losing streak. The Cardinals also snapped a two-game skid as well.
