President Visits Kansas City

President Bush visits Kansas City, today. Bush will visit the city today to promote his efforts to create the cabinet-level post for homeland security and to promote the candidacy of Senate hopeful Jim Talent. Bush will tour a Kansas City water treatment facility and then addressthe threat of terrorism during a speech at Oak Park High School. Bush then will be the highlight of a $500-a-person fund-raiser for Talent at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. It’s expected to raise half a million dollars for Talent’s campaign against Senator Jean Carnahan.
