Authorities Review String Of Deaths At Ashland Nursing Home

June 10, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Ex-nurse Richard Williams has already been charged in a string of deaths at the Veterans Administration hospital in Columbia. Now, his name is at the center of a probe into what authorities are calling suspicious deaths at a nursing home in Ashland in the 1990’s – a nursing home whichemployed Williams at the time of the deaths. Darrell Hendrickson of the State Health Department says the matter had been addressed previously, but there was no evidence to implicate anyone in the deaths. The Health Department review of the Ashland deaths began last week. So far, five deaths are under the microscope.
