It was no secret that wide receiver Derrick Alexander was on his way out of Kansas City. Yesterday, the Chiefs made it official, cutting Alexander after four seasons with the team. It was the first day that June 1 cuts could be made official. The Chiefs will save salary cap money as a result of the move….Kansas City agreed to a one year deal with offensive guard Brian Waters. He started eight games with the Chiefs last season. The team will begin the first of three voluntary practices today.
