University Of Missouri Raises Tuition Costs

June 1, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The University of Missouri’s Board of Curators has approved higher tuition costs for students. The Board has agreed to a tuition surcharge amounting to $9 a credit hour for all students throughout the University of Missouri system. That works out to an extra $270 a year for an undergrduate taking a full load of courses. The Board alsoapproved a plan to offer early retirement to some employees. The Board says the moves are necessary in light of the latest budget cuts announced by Governor Bob Holden.
