This is the deadline for Missouri’s low-income elderly to sign up for the new SeniorRX program. That’s the state insurance program that helps pay prescription drug bills. Lieutenant Governor Joe Maxwell, the state’s senior services advocate, says Missouri has made special efforts to keep the application form uncomplicated. He says anybody unsure of their eligibility should apply, anyway. He says the state will notify applicants if they fit the program.
