The Central Missouri State baseball team topped Columbus State (Ga) 7-3 in their first round game of the NCAA Division II World Series yesterday. Jason Herz was the winning pitcher, improving to 14-0. The 3rd ranked Mules, who were the runner up in last year’s series, will face Ashland University (Oh) tomorrow at 2:30 in Montgomery, Alabama for round two.
