Blues Will Freeze Ticket Prices

May 22, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The St. Louis Blues announced yesterday that ticket prices will not increase for the first time in five seasons. In fact if you don’t mind sitting up high, 3,600 upper level seats will go down in price in 2002-2003. Owner Bill Laurie reassured fans that the move will not affect the team’s payroll. Despite raising prices before last season, the Blues were still a good deal, comparitively speaking. The avergae ticket cost $42.25 in 2001-2002, the NHL average was $47.11.
