State Fair Forfeits Soccer Titles

May 17, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

State Fair Community College in Sedalia will have to forfeit the 1998 and 1999 Natinoal Junior College Athletic Association soccer national championships for using ineligible players. A probe found that two players on those teams had other people take their GED equivalency exams for them. They also had players who were not full time students. State Fair has forfeited all wins from the 2000 season and 11 victories in 2001. Their Coach Rick Carpenter was fired last year.
