Hinch, Knoblach Go Deep/Royals Rip Twins

Catcher A.J. Hinch and left fielder Chuck Knoblach hit homers last night as the Royals beat the Twins 8-1. Hinch finished with 4 RBI’s going 2-4 and scoring twice. Knoblach was 2-3, driving in two and scoring twice. Jeff Suppan allowed nine hits over eight innings, but only allowed one run, no walks and six strikeouts. He improved to 4-4 on the season. The Royals have now won four of their last five….Starter Darrell May, who’s been hampered by an injured groin is expected to start on Saturday in Cleveland. It will be his second start of the season.
