Royals Streak Ends

The Royals blew two one-run leads to lose to the Twins 3-2 on Monday night. Mark Quin drove in a run with a ground out in the 4th to make it 1-0 Kansas City. The Twins tied it up in the 5th. But Carlos Beltran’s RBI ground out in the bottom half of the inning made gave the Royals a 2-1 lead. But Minnesota scored in the 6th and 8th to win it 3-2. It ended the Royals winning streak at three games…..The Royals are apparently down to four candidates for their opening at manager. They are Buck Showalter, Tony Pena, Bucky Dent and John Mizerock. An announcement is expected by Thursday.
