The Royals longest winning streak of the season continued with a 4-1 win over the Indians yesterday. Mark Quinn made his first appearance of the season and didn’t waste any time. Quinn laced a two-run double in his first at bat, driving in Kansas City’s first two runs. They scored all four of their runs in opening frame. Paul Byrd got the start. He went six innings allowing one run off five hits. He’s now 6-2. Roberto Hernandez got his third save since coming off the DL last week, working a perfect ninth. The Royals take on the Twins at home tonight.
