The Royals overcame a 3-2 deficit, scoring three runs in teh bottom of the eighth, to beat the Indians 5-3. Mike Sweeny hit two homers, including one in the eighth inning rally. Jeff Suppan went eight innings, and allowed three runs off seven hits and striking out seven. It upped his record to 3-4. Roberto Hernandez worked a perfect ninth inning, striking out two, for his second save.
