Federal Courthouse Bid For Jefferson City Gets Boost From Bond

Senator Kit Bond is standing behind the effort to get a new federal courthouse for Jefferson City. The project would require a meeting of minds involving federal, state, and municipal officials. Bond says there are obstacles standing in the way of federal dollars for a courthouse, but he says those obstacles can be overcome. Plans call for the courthouse to be built by 2007.
