Chiefs Sign Two More Free Agents

May 2, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The Kansas City Chiefs added two more free agents on Wednesday, inking backup quarterback Jonathan Quinn and wide receiver Curtis Jackson to contracts. Quinn spent the last four seasons in Jacksonville, backing up Mark Brunell. Jackson played his first year in the NFL with the Patriots last season, but was used mostly on kickoff returns. He ran back 31 kicks for 323 yards. In 2000 he was on the Rams practice squad……Unrestricted free agent Marus Spears is close to re-signing with the Chiefs. The offensive lineman is the Chiefs final unrestricted free agent. He’s played in Kansas City since 1997.
