The Cardinals first affair after their thirteen-game road trip was a bust. They lost to the Marlins 7-2 at Busch. The Marlins jumped on starter Darryl Kile, scoring three runs in the first inning. The Cardinals were held to just three hits in the loss. Cliff Floyd hit two homers for Florida. St. Louis has dropped 11 of their last 15. Garret Stephenson’s return from the disabled list begins tonight, he gets the start.
