Bond Calls On HHS To Investigate Pharmacy Regulations

Senator Bond wants the federal Health and Human Services Department to investigate the case of Kansas City pharmacist Robert Courtney. Bond wants to know if there are some problems with pharmacy regulations that allowedCourtney to spend years watering down medications. Bond says it’s clear from the Courtney case that present pharmacyregulations do not adequately protect patients. The department assured Bond last summer that its regulations areadequate.
