Missouri National Guardsmen will finally hand over the airport security mission they picked up after the September terrorist attacks. New federal employees were supposed to pick up the security duty in March, but that transfer has been delayed until May 31st. Major Scott Cummings with the task force doing security says Guardsmen have already been working their way out of the airports. Cummings says the troops will be ready to go back to the airports should the need arise again.
