The small southeast Missouri town of Marquand has been heavily damaged by a tornado. No serious injuries are reported. Several businesses and homes have been destroyed. The volunteer fire deparment building and city hall have been destroyed. Tornadoes also have damaged a resort near Van Buren, also in southeast Missouri.
