Priest Accused In Sex Abuse Scandal Returning To Missouri To Face Charges

Former priest James Beine has abandoned his fight against be brought back to Missouri to face sexual misconduct charges. Beine had been fighting extradition after being arrested in Illinois March 29th. Beine was removed from the ministry in 1977 after allegations of sexabuse but had spent more than a decade as a counselor in the St. Louis City schools.
