Opposition Growing To S & M Event In St. Louis

April 22, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

A workshop on sadomasochism, domination, and bondage, faces criticism from a religious group, a women’s group, and a State Senator who says he’ll call for the Attorney General and the State Health Department to investigate. The “Beat Me in St. Louis” gathering is to be held at a St. Louis hotel. A spokesman for Concerned Women of America says the event will release bodily fluids that could put hotel workers and later guests at risk. The Missouri Baptist Convention already has cancelled reservations atthe hotel for its June state conference. Senator John Loudon of Ballwin says the event is dangerous, and willask the senate to pass a resolution calling for a state investigation.
