Youth Turkey Hunting Season Begins

April 12, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Youth turkey hunting season is being held Saturday and Sunday in Missouri. The Missouri Department of Conservation says youth under 16 get the chance to get out and hunt about a week before the regular season opens. And, the Department says 11 to 15 year-olds with their hunter safety certificates can hunt with a regular spring turkey hunting tag. Good numbers of birds and the right weather at the right time should make for a good hunt this year.
