Kareem Rush says he will enter this year’s NBA draft rather than return to the University of Missouri for his senior season. Rush made the announcement Wednesday afternoon at a press conference at the Hearnes Center. Rush said he does not plan to hire an agent (which would end his college eligibility) but is “committed 100 percent to playing in the (NBA) league next year.” Rush was coach Quin Snynder’s first MU recruit. Rush’s total 1,584 points ranks him #8 on the MU list of career scoring. He averaged 19.8 points this past season and helped lead the Tigers to a 24-12 season and a trip to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight.
