Missouri basketball coach Quin Snyder will coach the Tigers again next season. After flirting with the University of Washington over its job opening for the past few days, Snyder has decided to stay put. He’s considered one of the hottest young coaching commodities in college basketball, and received extra attention in Washington because he’s a native of that area. But Snyder says he’s excited about the potential for basketball at Mizzou, and he will continue to build what he calls a “special and unique” program there. The University of Washington now turns its attention to other candidates–maybe St. Louis University coach Lorenzo Romar. Romar played at Washington, and is one of at least two other candidates under consideration. The other is Gonzaga’s Mark Few.
