The St. Louis Blues continued their late-season slide last night with a 2-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild at the Savvis Center. The loss leaves them tied with Edmonton and Phoenix in the standings…and puts them in danger of missing the playoffs altogether. Since a ten-game winning streak earlier in the season, the Blues have played 14 games, and won only four–two of them in overtime. Last night the Blues were shut out until the final seconds, when they poked the puck into the net after pulling their goalie in desperation. It continued a stretch of games in which the offense has been nearly non-existent
